In April 1994 a very good friend of mine, local scene legend/"Guru"
Bill Brewster, came to an untimely end. These things do happen. Another friend of mine, Michael "Boat Boy" Kastelic (of the world renown Cynics) didn't take it quite so philosphically. He said, "...but not Brewster, he was one of us!!!" In all truth, I did agree with him but just said,
"Hey, its a one way ticket Boatie!!!" All he could say was, "no, he was one of us..."
Michael, I & Paul Shook (Norm Nardini & the Tigers, he plays lead on the song) have seen alot of brothers & sisters fall to the life style of a Rock'n'Roller. Shit, we've had a stumble or two our own selves...
These things do happen.
