This was a working class
band so, the bourgeoisie
culture of '80s US punk
rock took the boys back
a bit...not to mention the
gay people drawn to the
scene. I tried my best to
represent my new friends
to my roots friends &
vice-versa, "Don't be
afraid to be STRANGE"

Blue Collar had only one recording session. August 6, 1981 at Lee Hollihan's. We did ten trax, all one take. This is one of the 8 songs never released way back when. This is kinda typical of the stuff we were playing. We did much Ska & Reggae on stage: "Johnny Too Bad", "007", "Get Up-Stand Up", "Preasure Drop", etc...
